Building Difficulty: Medium
Power Functions electronics used:
The L-Motor powers a central gear that turns the main axle that moves the 2 hind wheels. The Servo Motor powers a small gear that rotates on a gear rack, moving the front wheels left and right. The lights below the bumper will turn on when the battery box is turned on. It integrates many electronics in a small model.
Building Difficulty: Easy
Power Functions electronics used:
The L-Motor powers a gear-down system that trades overall torque for speed and moves the differential that moves the 2 hind wheels together. The Servo Motor powers a small gear that rotates on a gear rack, moving the front wheels left and right. The battery box and IR receiver had to be mounted on the side as there was no space on the chassis itself!

The 2 M-Motors power the left and right tracks to move independently. 1 M-Motor controls the height of the arm and the other M-Motor controls the pincers. It integrates many electronics in a small model.
